Research Interests
Neurocognition and functional outcome of schizophrenia spectrum disorders; Cognitive assessment I’m a clinical psychology student with a Master’s Degree in Psychology from University of Delhi, North Campus. Currently I’m working in the Translational Psychiatry Lab as a full-time research assistant. My involvement over here is allowing me a greater understanding of schizophrenia disease process in new light by integrating advanced techniques like fMRI, eye-tracking and tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) with traditional methods like clinical observation and behavioral methods in unified research paradigms. I hope to pursue PhD and explore further depths of neurocognition of schizophrenia and it’s interaction with other clinical expressions of the disorder.
About Me
I’m from Chhattisgarh and currently live in Bangalore. I’m fascinated by art and good food. In my free time I write, read novels, and make collages and cards. I appreciate most mainstream dance forms. To me they are the ultimate visual treat. When inspired, I write poems and journal. Further, by the virtue of my degree in psychology, I often catch myself doing freelance counseling. I appreciate integrity and intelligent humor. I value my friends and family and feel blessed to be a part of their lives. Lastly, I think life is about balance. Rolling stone gathers no moss and a sitting stone is covered in it
